If you aren’t familiar with the World Between Worlds, it is a canon concept created for the “Star Wars Rebels” television series and it is referenced in “The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary”. It is canon that Darth Sidious wanted access to the WBW. In other words, it’s not just a fanon thing invented solely to bring Ben Solo and his Good Boy Sweater back, I promise.
